White Flowers

Until recently, most of my photographs feature the landscape.  My background in the social sciences, especially anthropology and history, was the primary influence on this work.

However, I sense new influences.  This new direction challenged me to return to the studio, and my White Flower photographs are the fruits of this labor.  This series began as a simple exercise about the subtleties of light on form.  However, to my delight, it has evolved into an exciting new outlet for my emotions and creativity.

I am delighted with the response to this project.  "Trio" was collected by the Woodmere Art Museum, "Callas in a White Vase" by the Lancaster Art Museum, and "Moth Orchid" by the Berman Museum.
